My Job -
The President's duties are endless, but are roughly:
• To ensure the club runs as smoothly as possible.
• To work with the Treasurer to plan the annual budget.
• To plan and co-ordinate the stall at the Sports Fair at the beginning of the year, to reach as many new members as possible.
• To act as the main representative of the Badminton Club, to sign off all official Students' Union documents, and attend strategy meetings with the sports officer and sports council throughout the year.
• To act as part of the link between the team and the general club in order to avoid segregation
• To oversee the ordering of club equipment, and to manage any problems or complications arising.
• To coordinate the efforts of exec members, to organise exec meetings to discuss various upcoming events, and to look for ways to improve the club in all areas
• To run a club session at least once a week
